About Intercity Soccer
There are various elite divisions within the Lac St. Louis region in which we compete in:
The Lac St. Louis region is comprised of teams from Dollard, Dorval, Ile Bizard, Lakeshore, Lachine, Hudson-St. Lazarre, Lasalle, Outremont, Pierrefonds, Pointe Claire, Saint Laurent, Trois Lac, Valleyfield and Verdun.
Additionally, at the AA U13 level and up there may be teams from Gatineau, Hull and Aylmer.
NOTE: Not all Clubs have teams at every level of play. Average divisions are made up of 6-10 teams.
The Season runs from mid April to September. You play an average of one game per week with a Cup series in September.
Commitment from players is a minimum of twice per week. This usually translates into one game and one practice. At the AA or higher level most teams have an additional practice on the weekend. The teams play from 12 to 18 regular season games depending on the total number of teams in their Division.
- The AAA division that plays throughout Quebec and compete for the privilege to represent the DSC both provincially and nationally. The qualification year for teams to advance to this level begins at U13 for both male and female teams.
- The AA division spans U13 to U18. These teams play within the Lac St Louis region exclusively.
- The A division also spans U13 to U18 . While not as competitive as the AA division they also play within the Lac St. Louis Region.
- Divisional Intercity teams span U9 to U12. These teams also compete against the elite players within the Lac St. Louis Region. Game Statistics are not published at this level in order to promote player development within our region.
